No.

And the arguement that lefty's can't attempt the same move without it being called a balk is ridiculous. The MLB guy making the noise is probably a lefty. Wink Lefty's have so much more of an advantage in other facets of the game. I'd rather see MLB put ALL of their resources into a workable instant replay system rather than spending time on something as ridiculous as this.

Apparently those claiming that were listening to the announcers, who know even less about balks than pitchers. According to the calling umpires and the video, both balks were "started and stopped" balks. 8.05 (a)

The new rule will simply offer the same protection to runners at second and third that they enjoy at first in regards to feints.
