Would someone familiar with the mlb tryouts please give me a little detail on how they are run, how long they take, the value of the process and anything else you could tell me ? thanks

won't be done until after lunch time... don't make any other plans...About 45 to an hour for registration, numbering by position, etc. 60 yard dashes are first... usually for all, sometimes not pitchers... then arm velo testing, defense, pitchers usually set aside some time at this point. Very long and sometimes alot of waiting...be good to experience so you have an idea... private invitation tryouts are a little more thorough, I'm assuming you were referring to the open tryouts... depending on location, be ready for 75 to 100 people there... Is there a website or way of finding out when the MLB teams have open tryouts? I live in western NC, so we don't have any MLB teams near us.
