tr we're on the same page with "issues" meaning the complications involved with standardizing the uniforms.
The only thing that really bothers me about MLB uniforms are 1) pants that are several sizes too big and 2) hats that are crooked. I'm not saying that the pants should be skin tight, but they shouldn't be baggy either (I'm picturing Manny, but there are others as well). And hats should be worn straight, IMO. I'm not a fan of stirrups or high socks particularly, but I'm not a big fan of the pants hanging way down over the shoes either.

And I don't mind stuff like Francona wearing or not wearing a jersey.
It's called a uniform for a reason. It should be worn uniformally. If you weae your pants long fine, roll them up fine. But they are uniform in size and style. Kinda like those Yankees with their no-facial hair policy and black spikes. Some of the stuff today is getting way over the edge.
This is coming from someone who has to wear a uniflorm to work.

Rz1 where did you find TR's little league picture??? WOW they look uniform in uniform.

Walawala, it's not their uniform it is the uniform of the team. Yes, they have worked hard and many many many others before them worked hard for a lot less money. The uniform lives on because of what others have made of it. Yankee Pinstripe Pride, Dodger Blue, the Cardinals Birds on the bats and then there are the Red Sox Frown World Champs and they at least looked better then in 04'.
I am a fan of everyone on the team doing the same thing, even if it goes against traditional standards. For example, on my college team we ALL wear Clemson-Cut pants that are pretty baggy and hang over the shoes. We all also try to flat-bill our hats, but with the cheap pre-curved hats our coach bought it is difficult to. Also, the lefties on our team all have their hats tilted to the right, and the outfielders all have the word "athletes" written on the right side of the hat bill (an ongoing argument we have with the infielders as to who are the better athletes) and "No Gaps" is written on the other side of the bill.
