Did anyone go? Soke with a coach this morning that thought it was great. He actually hung out with Mattingly, Girardi, Butterfield and many of the ML coaches. He said it was very social and quite informative.

Notice the intinerary for one of these guys was to work hard for 2 days and then scramble out of there and be home in time for the Pats game...LOL...and I guess it was all downhill from there
BTW...How is this for a road series noted by BA today?
26 Consecutive road games Maine will play to start its season before its home opener April 13 against Stony Brook. The Black Bears open Feb. 24 with three games at Mississippi, a series scheduled after Maine enjoyed itself so much as a participant in the 2005 Oxford Regional, and then play 13 straight games in Florida.
It was once again a good baseball weekend. I too got to speak with "Donnie Baseball". It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that happened becuase i was standing in the right place at the right time. He was not a speaker at the convention, but promoting new bats in an upstairs suite. What a great day!! Can't wait for the snow to melt and season to begin.
My son's HS coaches drove up there from here in VA. It is pretty much the highlight of their year, as they always make the trip.
i was there on thursday night and enjoyed the speakers very much. next year i will make sure to get there for the long weekend.
