I pity whoever gets the rights to this one. The "film" has already been made, those 4 minutes of video will be impossible to top! For the lucky few hundred who saw it up close I'm sure it is a memory that will last until their dying day. Just watch that whole gym celebrate what this boy accomplished. We all dream of getting our big break, darn few would come thru the way this kid did when they had their chance. That he is autistic and didn't even speak until he was five years old makes it nearly unbelievable. BTW I'll be first in line when it comes out on DVD !!! Having this happen in my backyard, the coverage is almost non-stop J-Mac. Funny thing is, no one seems to get tired of hearing about it.
It's an endearing story because it blows many stereotypes clean out of the water...and that is a very good thing!
