Morton's Izzy Does Make 'Em Dizzy !

We faced Izzy 2 years ago as a soph. in the regional finals (he won) and again this year (he won).
We were happy to see that he was back playing again this year, it was a lot easier playing Morton without him last year. There a tough team with him and Elliott as a battery. I'm glad they shipped them out of our region. I'm sure coach Tsenes is none to happy where he got moved.

I can honestly say that he was one of the best pitchers we saw this year. He definitely has one of the better sliders that I have seen in a HS player. I wish him continued success traveling down the straight and narrow path.

Where is he going to school next year, JC?

Izzy has some nasty stuff, good hitter, and has speed. On top of that, another great kid nurtured through the Bulldogs!!!!!!!!!

I am glad to see Izzy in the paper and having Izzy play for me part time on my summer team he and the other players from Morton that play for me in the summer.

I agree. I've never met Izzy, but I know of him. You and I don't have any connection to Morton, but they honestly deserve respect...I'm hoping that Izzy stays the course and succeeds.

His story is a great example of how this wonderful game has far reaching influence beyond the ballfield...kudos to the Chicago Tribune for printing it.

Izzy got filthy stuff. When he is on he can be virtually unhittable. Seen him throw that slider with bags loaded on a 3-2 count in game situations. He's got the guts of a catburgular.
