YANKEE CLIPPINGS
The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre starting rotation underwent a major shakeup Wednesday...

In other Thunder news, reliever Preston Claiborne has been promoted to Triple-A Scranton. He was 2-2 with a 2.22 ERA with Trenton and hadn’t allowed an earned run since May 22, a span of 15 appearances.

I really appreciate all the kindness & funnies!
But I'm
His dad would be so proud! I'm certain Mike is elbowing a few baseball angels up there, saying "how 'bout them chitlins!"

Thank you!!

I'm 6th generation Texan, son 7th. Had 2 grandfathers & 2 uncles in Battle of San Jacinto & Runaway Scrape, & Battle of Velasco (1832). They arrived in 1829 & helped make Texas what it is!

My daughter sent me these, which I got a chuckle out of:

itsinthegame,
I'm very thankful for your good wishes! You, of all people, know how tough it is.

Thanks to your Texican ancestors! Mine did not arrive until the mid-1850's so they did not help out. My birthday is on Independence Day.

I'll follow your son and wish him the best. Corban Joseph is a local boy so we keep an eye on the Yanks.

Thank you!
And gald to have a "rookie" Texan!! He'll stay, I hope!

I find it hard to comprehend my ancestors have been here 183 yrs! I'm currently involved with getting a Texas Historical Designation for a newly discovered "family burial ground" on 6th gr grandfather's Mexican Land Grant, issued 1829. He died in Ft. Bend Co. 1837. His league on Brazos River was used as an encampment for the Mexican Army as they retreated when word was rec'd that Santa Anna had been captured at San Jacinto.

I was trying to copy a pic, but a link will have to do.
