This is the group MSL is taking to the PG event. 3 things stood out to me and they are in order of the most surpising to least surprising in my mind.

1.) Only one catcher? I was very surprised that they are taking only one catcher, and even more surprised they didn't invite 2 other catchers I saw at MSL who have easily Top D1 talent and one of those catchers i'm thinking of has multiple D1 offers.Usually teams take at least 3 to this event(2 i'm thinking of + the catcher below would've been ideal). Maybe those other catchers were invited by other teams?

2.) Some of these kids didn't attend MSL, even though the majority of them are very talented.

3.) How is this team selected? Is it voted on? I plan on attending the event, and didn't even realize MSL had a team until I was doing my homework going through some of the rosters.

They probably could'nt get the catcher i'm thinking of, as I was just told from a friend that they asked him to be on there team, and another team i talked to asked him as well. Which makes sense with this roster. I don't know who he is going with or not. But I'm still curious as to 1 catcher? Catchers in this tournament take a beating. Maybe thats not the full roster?

I will be in Jupiter. I promise I will send you a pic and count heads.

Don't look at the watch.

If you happen to find any full rides laying around pick some up. I hear they sometimes fall out of the pockets of scouts, coaches, etc.

I'm actually starting a business... "Full Rides 'R' Us".

If I could get a few to start off with it will surely help the company get off it's feet.

We also offer a various variety of draft slots for those interested.

I think it should be a prosperous venture as I've had several requests for scholarships and players interested in getting drafted.

Let me know what you find!

Here is the blog post on PG website:

RHP Andrew Vinson (2012, Flower Mound, TX) threw a complete game 1-hitter, striking out 10 Syracuse Sports Zone hitters, to lead MSL All-Stars to a 3-0 win Friday morning. The 6-0/160 Vinson was in complete control the entire game, pitching in the 86-90 mph range from a high 3/4's delivery that hid the ball well from the hitters. His breaking ball varied between a curveball and slider shape but he spotted it well.

The big advantage that Vinson had over Syracuse starter RHP Seth Lamando (2012, Hopewell Junction, NY) was his defense, as Lamando allowed only 1 hit in 5 innings as well but allowed one of the 3 unearned runs Syracuse permitted. Lamando is similar to Vinson, a 6-0 right hander who pitches in the upper 80's with good command and solid pitching mechanics.

Syacuse LHP Matt Portland (2012, Victor, NY) allowed 2 unearned runs but showed very good raw arm strength and a strong 6-3/220 build, pitching at 87-88 mph.

2008 Houston Miracles won South Plains Regional at TCU, I was there. I haven't even begun to google yet. Should I? Dallas Mustangs went this past summer. DBAT Mustangs went summer before. So that two years... I have no idea who was there in 2009 from South Plains...

I know every year, before the merger, a team from BBI Premier (before it was watered down) made it to the CMWS out of Dallas Tigers, TX Blackhawks, FW Cats, DBAT, Lake Highlands Wildcats, Dallas Patriots - and there were some other teams I think...
You are correct about one thing the Miracle did win in 2008 but I believe DBAT went back to back before that 06 and 07 and back, back, back last three years. Dallas Mustangs have not gone since 2006. So I apologize they have gone 5 out of last 6. Still stand by what I said if you have gone to the Connie Mack WS from the South Plains Regional you probably have most of the good kids. JMartin as most know I am not a DBAT lover and you are forcing me to say good things so lets close the topic. All I said is in their defense they should have most of the guys from the Dbat organization on the MSL all-star team because they have proven to be the best.

Cats, Patriots, and Blackhawks have never been to Farmington that I know of.

Maybe Cats of the early 90's but I don't recall.

Tommy's Tigers went in 08 and 09 I believe.

Wildcats were cinderella team back to back years as well.

Pats and Blackhawks ain't sniffed it though.
