What will be different about this league from the DABA?
WHat is the difference between this and the Texas Collegiate league?
The MSL-Collegiate League will play 24 games (plus a post season tournament) in the North Dallas area. MSL-Collegiate League bridges the gap for college players that need to work and or take summer school. The MSL Collegiate league will allow local DFW players to come back home, sleep in their own beds, while playing good competition and maintaining their skills.
Anybody have experience with this league last year good or bad.
Do you take whole teams, or is this something for revenue? Our DABA players pay:

DABA, will play the same number of games, with a city tournament. What are the venues?
This will be our 13th year in the DABA, nothing is perfect, but it is a solid league, for college players, that want to stay at home, for all the reasons, listed in the original post.
It's not the Cape, Jayhawk, Alaska, Mink or, many others. But. Jerold/H B, before him, have done a great job, running the league for many years.
The MSL-Collegiate League will have 6 teams this year plus have interleague play with some top 18 metroplex teams. Each team will play 28 game schedule with a post Season tournament. Players from Dallas Baptist, UT Arlington, TCU will highlight this years league with other players from other all the way to Junior College players. MLB and collegiate scouts have come to our games watching our players.
The MSL-Collegiate League will also has 20 spots for collegiate players from other regions of the United States who will stay will host parents for the league that runs from June 12-July 31st. The league will play games in the Dallas, McKinney and Colleyville. Player cost is $685 per player.

The DABA is also a great league with a great history. Jerold and Aubrey do an excellent job.
The boy recently signed to play with the Texas Marshals this summer. The jury is still out on that, but judging by what some of our current players are doing in College ball this year, it seems to be successful. Can't go wrong with your son playing close to home during the summer!
