What is considered appropriate in arranging multiple official visits over long distances to 2-3 schools? My son is considering official visits to a couple of schools across the country and it does not seem appropriate to have one school paying for flights back and forth. I am considering getting him to school A, and then tell them that is all they need to do is get him there, we will pay to get him to school B, and then let school B get him home. This way neither knows about the other. It makes not sense to go Home-A-Home and then Home-B-Home, etc. Have others done this?

Keep in mind an official visit can not last for more then 48 hours. Make sure that you do use that time to get to know the team, visit the school, watch practice, talk to academic advisors.

I don't see anything wrong with scheduling the two together, be honest about travel plans, they would appreciate it.
