Has anybody played enough games yet to form an opinion?

I have been fooling around with the different features, my "official" dynasty is right around the corner.

Just got mine delivered by UPS today and my son and I will fire it up tonight. Hope it is as cool as it looks.

i got it....doesn't work on my xbox yet but played it at my friends house.... graphics are great thou hitting is a little confusing and takes some getting used to...i heard the dynasty mode is going to be insane

I GOT IT THURSDAY! such a great game... the hitting was hard to get used to at first but now i'm beginning to get the hang of it.

I got it, its pretty sweet. I got sick of the new hitting so i turned it back to classic as i did for fielding.

I got it on Thursday and absolutley love it. The new hitting mode is WAY different than any before, but I think I like it better, it kind of simulates actual hitting. Also, look out for my college team this year the Concordia Bulldogs (NAIA). I created our team in the game, and we are currently the #1 team in the nation for DI now, lol!

Apparently my nephew, a pitcher at Illinois, is the second fastest runner on his team. HA!

The game is pretty nice, but the rosters are from last year! The create a team mode is not deep enough (can't pick colors, etc.). The gameplace itself is pretty nice, though. EA, do a better job next year.

I think it is WAY cool! Just got it today.

My son mentioned something to me about being able to change some of the players and then saving them (?)and sending to EA who will reprogram your chip so it will be permenant chnages in the game (for a fee).
What son said was amazing how real looking and detailed the field was.

How do you feel about that, playing with old rosters?

Before the game was released, I thought - "it is going to take a while before anyone can name the players since most schools haven't released their new rosters yet" ... but now, you just have to look at last year's rosters.

I guess last year's players are better than 100% fictional players - at least you have an idea of who each person is supposed to be.

Very true Ratboy, better than fictional players. Next year, EA should push back the date so that they can get the correct roster - shouldn't be too difficult considering the NCAA Football game comes out over a month before the season and has the correct rosters.
