Brrrr! It's not quite that cold here today, temp in the teens with a windchill near zero. Meanwhile, hubby says from Florida where he is watching son's college team and the Twins: "So, ya still got that cold and snow up there, honey?" I told him no, it all melted and it's 75 degrees here. Razz

It's even better down here in Florida, where Spring Training/Ball Players are everywhere, all the college boys are down here playing and I just met a team from Robert Morris, that plays college "club ball", that's staying at the hotel I where I work. Met Little Richard the other day- he's performing at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City. That was an unexpected bonus!
Had the pleasure of spending this past weekeknd in Binghamton NY at the America East Ladies Tournament---sat with the players parents, the faculty and the school president---great time cheering even though we lost by 2 in the final--they will be in the WNIT this weekend so they will still play more hoops

The excitement was out of this world---beats the pro scene anytime---we even had a group of us go to Sunday Brunch and then there was a tailgate party before the game

Great facilty at University of Binghamton---

bottom line--give me college athletics over the pros any time
