Boy what a crazy night last night!

First I had to drive the JV team to one end of town for a 6:30 game, then drive all the way across town to make it to my senior's 4:30 varsity game where mine was pitching! He pitched 5 1/3 and got the win. It was messy but at least our guys were hitting the ball. We won 12-8. Mine also got a hit, RBI, and laid down the prettiest bunt I've ever seen. Then when that game was over, I rushed back to the JV game and got there in the fourth. We were winning when I arrived, but had a miserable 5th and ended up losing by 9 runs.

My sophomore wasn't playing, and found out on the way home he snipped at the coach the day before when he was pulled in the first. That mouth will get em every time!!

JV has only got one game tonight, maybe one game on Saturday, and varsity has two games on Saturday, then the season is done :-(

Of course, summer ball practice starts almost immediately. I can't wait!!

That's great to hear! No matter what it looks like, it's a W nonetheless. party

I'm playing beat the clock today as well. My younger brother has a double header tonight, all thanks to the rain that has been dumped on us this past week, and he's the starting pitcher in game one (couldn't be game 2 for my sake). I talked to him last night and he was griping and complaining about having to play a doubleheader during his spring break. I swear, he should be happy that today's a pretty day and he didn't play in the rain. But he didn't seem to understand the benefits. He was sure to tell me I had better be there. Which means I have to drive home after classes today, and seriously fly to make it there on time.

Pray I don't get a speeding ticket.
Kunga... a "W" is a win.....a "W" is a win.....a "W" is a win...it's a win!!!!

congrats...had to say it few times...we haven't had many of those...felt pretty good to say it out loud.... Smile

I only have one playing...can't imagine how all of you with more than one playing ball....don't get speeding tickets...hurrying as you must..

Congratulations on the win! I remember those days of my husband and I splitting up to attend baseball games. When our oldest was playing Colt League the summer before his senior year our youngest was on a tournament team. The month of June most weekends I was at oldest son's games while my husband was traveling with youngest son to his games. Oldest son graduated in 2002 and youngest son will begin his high school playing days in Colt League this summer.
One more time: Congratulations on the "W"!!
