Nansemond River Vs. Indian River

Indian River needs this game badly. Two very tough 1-0 losses have put them in an early season hole. My feeling is that they are too experianced and need it too badly to fall to 0-4. Gotta think they will start to score a few runs and still getting W's.

Would certainly think that IR will get W's. Look who they have lost to - Grassfield, Hickory and Great Bridge - teams which many posting on this board predicted as being in the top of the district.

WB Exactly! A couple of VERY tough ones as well. I'm expecting them to get rolling here and they'll be there at the end. If not that would be the shock of the season.

nansemond r[ver is very young with a group of kids that have at least two more years together definetly dont have the experience but will be given teams in the southeastern district a fit before its all said and done anything is possible in the game of baseball

Yup. That's why they play the games. In 2 weeks we'll have a better idea of what they've got since NR has IR, GB, Hickory and Grassfield. No easy stretch for sure 2-2 will be good and 3-1 will be great and 4-0 makes them a title contender. If they get Ali, Stokes and Cox that would be a real statement.
