Navicular bone fracture

Has anyone had a fracture of their navicular bone in the ankle? What was the treatment and how long did it take to heal? My son has just had this diagnosis and is off to the orthopedic surgeon on Monday. Just need some general information. Thanks

I would PM LadynMom--her son went thru it this spring. Depending on the nature of the fracture, treatment can vary.

When you see the ortho doc ask him about recovery--every injury is different and each body is different
