Heading up to the NBC World Series this weekend and next week........going to be a long week in Wichita. Son is pitching for the Hays Larks. We used to live in Wichita, and this was a really big deal when we lived there. 1st week had baseball around the clock. I see that they don't have that any longer, but they are getting some interesting teams (Kansas All Stars are former MLB players) and they have one version of the USA National team (I hear it is the U of Iowa team).

I don't think it will be all that the Connie Mack tournament was, but it should be fun.

Seems like just yesterday we were in the back yard hitting off a T...........time sure flies.

If anyone else is going, I can give you some info on Wichita (things to do, places to eat, avoid, etc).

Yes, this year the USA team is the University of Iowa. The last several years it had been a JUCO national Team
