Southern Yankee,
I'll try to answer. Ken Carlyle is the head coach, he is in his 4th year at the school , the last 3 as a head coach. This year he has put together a solid assistant coaching staff that should be with him a few years. In the few fall games I seen this year and the 3 games last weekend it is obvious that having the extra staff is going to pay dividends for the program as it frees up Coach Carlyle to work with the pitchers which is his specialty. Not sure what you are looking for on players, my son has been there three years so I can break it down however you would like. The team only has 3 Srs. The starting lineup consists of 3 SO, 5 JR. Defensively I think we are as strong as any team in our conference. The picthing staff is very young and the load will be handled by mostly SO and FR. Not sure where we will finish this year but if everyone returns next year I thing the USA South is in for a surprise.
The college itself is very small, about 1200 enrollment. This has been great for my son as he functions better in a small class environment. He loves the school and the area. Even though we are only 2 hours away he only comes home for holidays or breaks. If you need more let me know. Also Sports'mom 03's son is a freshman at GC so you may want to get her input as well. What position does your son play?
