NCAA Tournament starts on Friday.
Here is the bracket:
NCAA Bracket

UT Arlington and Dallas Baptist both playing in the Waco Regional - facing each other Friday at 1pm.
Both teams loaded with former local HS players.

UTA goes into the tournament after sweeping through the Southland Conference tourney 4-0. Led by Preston Beck at the plate and Lance Day on the mound.

The Patriots playing in 2nd consecutive regional receiving an at-large bid after racking up a top 25 RPI.

And then there is Baylor....Top 10 in the nation and won the Big 12 regular season.

UT Longhorns did not make the field this year.

Lot's of games on ESPN Network and ESPN3 on Internet.

Good luck to all. It's always great to watch the players we followed in HS competing at the next level.

I was fortunate to see Beck over the weekend hit a walk-off HR to put UTA into the SLC championship and follow that with a slam to finish of rival Southeastern Louisiania in the championship.
Great baseball.

MVP of the tourney was Freshman 3rd baseman Travis Sibley of UTA.

Could not agree more, Adam has had a very special career at UTA and hopefully he gets his chance at the next level. Scouts don't see 90 plus with Adam, but what they do see is someone who makes hitters look foolish waving at his change up and then are late on his 88 MPH fastball. Adam is unfazed by any situation and he has done it against some of the best competition in the nation!
