If my son wants to attend a jr.college does he have to go through the ncaa clearinghouse and also sat and act scores are they needed?

He doesn't need the Clearinghouse to play JC ball, but I strongly suggest that he register and get cleared anyway.
The transfer requirements to D1 schools are different for qualifiers and non- qualifiers out of HS.
