How many can travel for road games? Is it any different for early season non conference games? I believe it's 25. A friend asked me to clarify. Since the topic is here, what are the rules for D2 And D3?

In PAC-12 conference play, each team can dress 27, except when playing a "tradional rival" when each team can dress their whole roster. For a home game, a team can dress their entire roster, but only 27 designated on the lineup card can play.

Conferences decide the number of travel players based on the number of days travelling and the number of games scheduled during the trip.
Son's D1 conference travels a "lean 22" when playing within the conference. 25 when they travel outside of the conference for weekend games.
I have no idea if conferences dictate the number of players travelling in D2 or D3.
