Well, some big time programs out early in the tournament. Biggest is #1 Vanderbilt losing to Michigan tonight. FSU, Miami, Texas all out early.

Michigan took 2 of 3 games from Vandy.

Freshmen Alan Oaks pinch hit the game winning HR in the 10th off of David Price to go to the Super Regionals. That's unbelievable.

I was trying to get those games on the tube all weekend, but kept getting the WCWS. I have Comcast cable and their website is weak with regard to finding out how to get ESPNU. It seem i can get every other type of programming but not the regional telecasts.

Let's hear it for our local girls who played in Oklahoma!!!! With a special woo hoo to Sandy Vojik from DePaul who hit a home run against Arizona.
I heard on the telecast that 21 girls from Illinois were on the teams which played in the Womens College World Series--topped only by girls from California and either Arizona or Texas. Not bad for a cold weather state!!!!
