yo, they don't have individual names (I'm pretty sure. Maybe you can name them.)I saw a trailer and the second baseman was being controlled and it said under him 2B 22, or whatever number he has. So I don't know how much research went into the game. Regardless, I'm buying it.

Because it's a college game they aren't allowed to put names on it, but all of the players are real and exist. Say me or you plays D-I baseball next year, we will be in the game rated true to our abilities, but our names won't be on it, just our number. It's pretty cool.
Hell has indeed frozen over. This game is crazy- even their "create a player" is so detailed- size of nose, how far the chin sticks out- its crazy.

When you rename your team players, do the announcers have the names logged in or do they say like, "the second basemen"...?

Also, a change between Major Leagues and college is a player playing 2 positions, like P/SS. In MVP Baseball you can't have pitcher play position or position player pitch. Does anyone know for sure that they have it?

Same problem I'm having... It's so much more realistic, though. In the old MVP, you could never even swing and miss the ball. In this game, if you whiff it's not uncommon.
I bought the game, basically because I know some players that are playing division I baseball. Justin Masterson, for example...playing for San Diego State and likely 1st round pick in the draft this year. I also know Zach Hurley who is at Ohio State.

Unfortunately, nobody I actually know is in the game, on the roster. That was weird and disappointing. I was also disappointed that they didn't have the MAC schools and some others.
