Cases are now moving toward class action status against the NCAA. This time by former “volunteer” assistants who were “volunteers” because the NCAA said they could not be paid. Interesting that one plaintiff is represented by the former minor league player who successfully sued MLB on the wage issues and settled for &185M.

'You don't have to be a great player to play in the major leagues, you've got to be a good one every day.'

Charlie Baker, NCAA president was recently interviewed by the Boston Globe. He was asked if he would consider a return to politics. With what he’s dealing with taking over the NCAA I would have to believe he was thinking yes even though he didn’t say it. He left the governors house the most popular governor in the country. as a Republican in a dark blue state.
