Yes, technically he could sign with a NAIA and then a DI. I think you'd be teaching your son some very poor lessons by doing that. First of all, there's many NAIA that can beat many DIs. Secondly, he shouldn't sign with any school just because it's an offer. And thirdly.... as I mentioned... what kind of lessons would he learn from that?
Also don't forget Coaches talk, and if word gets out about your son doing that, his character could become in question.

I know someone that did something similiar only with a JUCO instead of NAIA, after he signed at the JUCO he tried to sign at a DI school. Coaches in general view that as someone whoose not truly comitted to being part of a program.
