Dave Schrage was let go by ND. What is the chance that Pat Murphy makes a return trip to South Bend?

My guess is he'll be the next ND coach.

Also, kudos to the White Sox organization for putting on the Chicago Catholic League vs Public League all star game at US Cellular yesterday. Another excellent effort by the White Sox supporting high school baseball in the area.

The Cubs are very lacking in their support of Chicago area high school baseball when you compare the two organizations.

I can think of two events at Wrigley.

Perfect Game and Under Armour both hold events. Under Armour is even on television.

I'm not so sure The Irish roll the dice on Murph considering his most recent issues. Of course that's not absolute, but I believe their history is pretty squeeky when it comes to coaching hires.

As to the Cubs, neither am I a fan or aplogist, but they do play some showcase(s) at Wrigley each year.

OK, the Cubs have allowed Wrigley to be used for a couple of showcases. That is not the same as being a viable part of the high school community and organizing a number of events which the Sox do and the Cubs do not (and I'm a Cubs fan- I think).

Chicago Public League Semi-Finals 2010/Double Header
Played at Wrigley Field.
Cubs were extremely cooperative in making this possible.
