Derik was scheduled to pitch the 3rd game of the series and it was rained out. He was disappointed but I was not in LA so I was elated. Maybe I will get to see him in Boca Raton this weekend. I will be there watching the team.

Despite the fact that I am not an ND football fan (I do love Tyrone Willingham), I will always be an ND baseball fan. They recruited my son and I thought the coaches were A-1-A+, top class all the way.

Jess was scheduled to close for Derik so a double disappointment here.. Had the internet all ready to go, had tested the links, speakers and everything..
I am not allowed to root for the Irish for reason you can understand (can you say rivalry) but.... I can route for the kids
When you meet Jess this weekend please tell him "Chippa's mom says hi.. Don't say Kelly.. Say Chippa's mom.. it will freak him out LOL!!!
Are you going to the ND series at WVU?? We are traveling there with Jess's mom so it should be a blast.. Hope to meet you there.

We pull for the Irish Baseball team a bit because our son played in the Cincinnati Midland program with Steve Sollman and also because Coach Manieri was at the Air Force Academy before going to ND. All the best to your son and his mates, Karen.
