And here are the current standings in NE 10 play:

01-- Franklin Pierce 16-4
02---Stonehill 16-6
03---St Anselm 13-5
04-- Bryant 16-7
05-- Southern Ct 12-8
06-- UMASS-Lowell 12-10
07-- Bentley 9-12
08-- St Rose 9-13
09-- So. New Hampshire 8-13
10-- Merrimack 7-14
11-- Assumption 4-13
12-- American Intl 2-19

Makes for interesting comparisons--before and current
Part-time head coaches. AIC, Merrimack, and Assumption all have part-time head coaches and always have. And now Umass-Lowell has a part-time head coach for the first time. These are the only four schools in the NE10 to have part time head coaches.

Looking at the standings, does anyone think it makes a difference?

The NE10 is too competitive to have a part time coach. Recruiting, practice planning, game prep, fund raising and scheduling all needs to get done and that all becomes very challenging when you play the number of games that these teams play. Those schools should either hire full time coaches or go and play Division III.
