Our team would like to consider helping if you would consider helping us.

- Can you waive the $895.00 Entry Fee? Although this fee is minimal when considering travel, hotel, and meals for players and families it still would be helpful for us not to have the expense.

- Please send a list of scouts in attendance. This is a concern with it being a 18U tournament. 18U suggests most players are graduated HS seniors. Will there really be that many colleges looking to add kids to their programs so late? The tournament dates would basically be somewhere around 60 days prior to most universities first day on campus. Also, I would assume there wouldn't be any pro scouts in attendance for HS seniors that just graduated. Since these players would not have been drafted on June 7,8, and 9th considering them non prospects on the dates of your tournament.

- Could you ask the Brett Bros. who sponsor the tournament to throw in a couple of more wood bats? I doubt 2 bats for a minimum of 4 games will last very long with our team.

We are looking forward to the opportunity in helping as I'm sure you are looking forward to helping us.

It's a win - win for everyone.

My son has played the last two summers in this tournament and each year we have had a kid get an offer based on their play there. The stands aren't full of scouts, but they are there and they have a list of what they are looking for. If this year is like the past there should be 3 to 5 scouts in the stands each game. When you play at Doane the head coach will send one of his players to put a gun on the pitchers and they report back to the coach. Good enviroment and well run tournament. The best thing of all is getting to go over to watch the CWS. Great bonding for the players and dad's.
