Need some help. . . .

Still new at some of this "message board" stuff Confused

Checked out "where are they now" and wanted to send a PM to webster who has son attending the college my son is interested in and may have a shot at being on their bb team. . . wanted to ask some questions of someone actually attending that particular college

Can't figure out how to send a PM, can't seem to add them to Buddy List, can't find them listed in the Member List. . .

Is it possible they no longer are members???

I kinda bumble around till I figure things out too! Don't feel so bad. What I did to start off with is note down the screen name of the person I wanted to contact off the message board. Then when you get to the space where it asks "find new buddies" I have it ready to type in. The rest of the way will give you messages of what to do next. Good Luck!

ProudMom - If you'll go to the post you're speaking of and simply click on the name of that poster. Then you will have options including "send this person a private message" or something like that. Then click on that and a screen will come up allowing you to do just that. To review their reply you would click on the top of the page where it says "New PM" which takes you right to your PMs.

When I typed in "find new buddies" it never added any name to the list.

The problem is I didn't get the name from a post, but from the list of "where are they now" listing the players, their schools, pro teams, and screen names. That was why I wondered if maybe there were not members anymore. Confused

In addition to the advice offered above, you guessed correctly that there could be a few members whose sons are listed on the Where Are They Now page from previous years, but have not been active on the forums and might not show up in your search.

If you would like to send me a PM or an e-mail at jas@pclink.com, tell me the player/school/member that you are hoping to contact, and I can tell you whether they have a current ID here and if so, help you PM them.
