I don't know a boat load about those schools but I can tell you this...they all have strong academics however baseball wise, I wouldn't say their the strongest...the Northeast is dominated by high quality DIII teams ECSU, JHU, Alvernia, Rowan, College of NJ, Ithica, Salisbury, Trinity (Conn) etc...many of which are more powerful than the DI's, not in all situations but you would be surprised
Lafayette is a great school. In engineering they are ranked as one of the best in the nation. However, because they play in the Patriot League there is no athletic scholarships only need based financial aid and some academic money.

The baseball program is pretty good and the coaching staff is also good. Coach Kinney knows baseball but can be a little difficult personality wise. I know 3 recruits who fell in love with the school and the assistant coach and who the school wanted but after meeting with the Head coach were so turned off that they went elsewhere. All 3 kids are great kids , excellent baseball players and students. All 3 started as freshmen for their respective colleges.

The campus is beautiful. It sits on a hill and the classes are small. Small college, total student body is around 2600. The baseball field is off campus.
