A post was removed today after a parent (obviously) ranted (in detail) regarding a showcase event.

It was definitively a negative rant, and somehow ended up in two separate topics. Keep in mind that posting opinions on how you felt the event was run, can hurt business. Keep in mind that someone may see it completely different.

These type of topics are a negative reflection on the purpose of the goals of the HSBBW.

I don't know who removed it, but I agree 100% with that action.

I know that some here feel that there should be a separate section where people can go to b*tch about coaches, programs, etc.

This is no place for degrading players, coaches, programs, businesses, etc. Discussing costs is completely different than giving negative details as to why one should or should not attend XYZ showcase or consider being recruited to ABC University.

Keep in mind that we all perceive things differently, due to our own personal situations. Watch carefully how you chose your words.

To whomever removed the posts, thank you!

I am sure it must have been extreme for CD to have pulled it. A ban on all negative comments seems to defeat the purpose of the boards. There is a line between giving experiences and bashing. Hard to define, but it is there.

Fortunately many people will PM an honest account of their experiences, which I always appreciate.
