New Baseball Contacts

There was something about them at the MLB level last year. It seems like Griffey Jr. wore them in spring training and one of the magazines (Sportin News?) did an article on them.

They supposedly help you pick up the ball better.

My son got a pair last month. ...has tried them out at a scrimmage or two, but not in games as yet. He says the jury's still out.

can they be worn everday even inside or just for the field??

My son's optometrist gave him a free pair to try. They are bright ORANGE!!! And even after wearing for a time, they cast a yellow tinge over everything. The hype is that they supposedly enhance depth perception. My son hated them, end of story.

I suggest correction to 20/15, if you want to improve your situation. 20/20 may be "normal" but if you're trying to pick up the rotation on a ball going in the 80's, you'll notice improvement with a 20/15 Rx.

Is your son wearing them all the time or just during day games?

It seems everyone is half and half on them. Is it worth buying some to try out?

my son has them and he hasn't worn them enough to know if they help or not. he did say the color of "stuff" was off. he said that there only for day time use but i don't know.

I believe Brian Roberts was the MLB poster child for the first summer. Regular citizens couldnt get them.

HaverSon will be wearing them in Phoenix in 2 weeks. Nothing is as important as vision.
