New DBU Head Coach | High School Baseball Web

I saw on the internet today that Dallas Baptist has hired Dan Heefner as their new head coach. Their old coach took a pitching job at Nebraska. My son attended DBUs camp last year and we were really impressed with Coach Heefner and his approach to hitting and his interaction with the players. My boy learned alot and had fun doing it. You summer coach's probably know him better than I do. Any thoughts?

Our family has interacted with him several times this past year and are absolutely thrilled for him. He's chock full of character and integrity and has tremendous talent in hitting instruction. I'm sure he'll do a bang-up job as head coach. He's a class act in every way and I can't think of anyone more deserving of the job.

Congratulations Coach Heefner! He is an excellent coach and a true role model for the players.

Going to miss Coach Newman but he'll do very well at Nebraska.

Coach Heefner will excel at DBU. Kudos to him and to the program.
