My son lives in the Mid Atlantic area. He's also interested in New England colleges. While many of the colleges do attend Mid Atlantic showcases what would be good showcases in NE he could attend as an individual?

The top96 put out by TPX/ Demarini....Univ.of Hartford and one @ Tufts Univ.in Boston.
Thanks. I requested info on the Tufts showcase. It's very convenient to our summer house on the north shore. I'm still open to other suggestions.
The Top New England Perfect Game showcase is good. If you get invited I would go to that.. I went and it was alot of fun. If you get the chance to go down to florida and play in the World Wooden Bat Championship I would DEF do that. It was my favorite tourney ever!!!! Best players play in that. I think you can request to be a part of it, or you can invited to be on a team like Perfect Game, Under Amour and things like that. I played for Perfect Game and it was a blast.
I went to the Top 96 and it is a very good one. I would go to that too.
I would recommend PG Showcases, or the Lynn Invitational. TOP96 is not worth the Money.
The Perfect Game Sunshine Northeast which is early June and then the bigger of the 2 The Perfect Game Top Prospect Showcase which is in August. Request invites to both of these events early as there is a lot of competition for the spots.

For the money you can't beat the Lynn Invitational. Lots of great exposure from major league scouts to all the Northeast colleges.
What do they charge for the Lynn Showcase and what is the format? Is it similar to all the others?
It is a short money compared to the tpx and pg showcases. I think it is around $50-$75. Just remember when my son did it last year I thought for the money the most bang for your buck. Game format on Saturday and Sunday and if you are selected for the All Star Game on Tues they do 60 yd dash and catchers pop time on Tues. Lot of pro scouts on tues night.
PG Showcases are worth the money. TPX Clinics are not worth, or even close to worth the money they charge. I would say around 75% of the coaches that attend these events are Grad Assistants who have no authority to get a kid signed. I watched the little video on the website and half there were a select few head coaches that you could count.
