Does anyone have any recent experience / opinions on NMSU recruiting procedures, program, academics, camps, etc? I know TR's son played there a few years ago. Any info would be helpful. Son just received a letter from recruiting coordinator inviting him to a camp after being seen at a very recent showcase. Any opinions based on first hand knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well.....we decided to go elsewhere....not impressed....but....sure that other players....maybe higher on their must have list....had better experiences than we did......

I wont comment on the baseball situation as my son graduated in 1999 so I am a bit removed from the scene

I can tell you this though ---the campus is great-- the baseball facilties excellent and academically they took my son who was 2.2 GPA in HS and he graduated with a degree in Hotel Management and a GPA of 2.7
