I was wondering, if I should go with the Rawlings Black and Grey Heart of the Hide mitt, or the Pro Preferred. My main question is which will last longer. I have heard kip wears out faster, so in that case I would go with the HOH, but is it really true? I am not worried about the money, except that I may be able to get the HOH and new shin guards, so we will see, but my main question is about the durability of each leather.

Well, I just got my new mitt today. It's actually nothing I thought I would get. It is the DBAT Pro Premier Catchers mitt. Very stiff and tough leather which I like because it will shape well for me. Also, quite light for such a thick leather glove. It was either that or the A2000, and it had a little more room for my hand also, so I went with it. Let's see how well it breaks in now. Plus, it was only 150 bucks plus tax. Not to bad. The site where you can see/order it is www.dbatinc.com pretty nice glove, they also make a few other models, except first base.
