This is a lame poll.
Shortly, in an effort to save his job Baker will start Zambrano 3 straight games. The first game will be a complete game shutout with Jones screwing up the no hitter. The next game will be a no hitter, with a couple of errors. The third game will be a perfect game with 27 K's so no one can screw it up for him.

Sadly when you say "if there are any Cubs fans left," you failed to realize that the Cubs still fill more seats than the Sox even after a World Championship.

Does it matter why they are there? And no, if it were a local bar, they wouldn't all be paying $100 a pop for a "stool in the corner," which is what the Wrigley seating is comparable to. I just think it's sad that the Sox couldn't even sell out their World Series home games... that's all...
Thriller, with that being said, why do CUB fans keep going back to attendance. Why don't you take up the attendance issue up with your owner and GM and have them spend some of this money "wisely"!

I like it when people get all riled up over the stupid sox vs cubs rival. Sox fans are too caught up in saying how much the cubs suck and the cubs fans are too caught up in trying to defend against that. It's a great rivalry and me being a Cubs fan I love watching the crosstown classic..but fans on both sides annoy the **** outta me.

Well I guess we know who the hottest team in Chicago is. The Cubs have now won 3 games in a row and are heading for a really good streak where they wil move back into contention.
The Sox better gain more ground on Detroit because after the Cubs sweep the Sox they are going to be falling back if they don't.

Michael Barrett is an interesting story. I'm not one to believe in conspiracies, but this is becoming ridiculous. Why in the world hasn't Barrett begun serving his suspension? Is is because the commish wants to wait until D. Lee returns so as to not really punish the Cubs, or is he waiting to suspend Barrett so that he misses the Sox series? Either way the league looks foolish and unprofessional IMO. He did the crime, now do the time.
