My google search only came up with a job announcement for the position dated June 2nd. Nothing else. Interesting.

Tony Schifano, former Asst. Head Coach at UC Davis, is the new Head Coach at SFSU.

Great hire for a program indicating they, finally, intend to support baseball.

Tony is just a really fine person. He is a tireless worker.

For anyone who read the SFSU announcement, when college coaches confirm they would love their son to play for Tony, that is a real compliment.

All I can say is I would love to have Tony coach our....grandson!"

Agree with IFD, Tony flew down to watch my son play in a HS game, when UCD was in season and playing baseball. Quality hire on the part of SFSU and nice to see him take the next step. Best of luck to him and SFSU!
