Have been tracking this as I have a family member who is on the Stanford Team. Will be interesting to see how that goes as CCs are always interesting in baseball. I am just glad they didn't get U of Michigan's coach Bakich who was offered the job and turned it down. He's been doing great recruiting in CA and the East Coast as well as getting the best in state prospects. More so than any other sport, baseball is a personnel sport, IMO.

I think thats a good pick. He played there, he stayed on at Cal when program was almost taken away.

I like the pick having a son who played against both teams.
