Hope everyone had a Happy Holiday season. Just wanted to inform everyone that we have put together a tournament and league website (www.dfwtournamentbaseball.com). Hope all of you will visit. Make sure you contact me(dtigertommy@hotmail.com)for league play before you sign up with another league. It's affordable, played on nice fields and will play some very competitive games. Good luck to everyone on their high school seasons.

This seems to be possibly big news. Maybe the best teams from Lone Star and BBI Leagues can play together in this new league. Could it be possible for the Tigers, D-Bat and Patriots to play together against each other in the same league. Isn't this what we all want??? Could it be possible? Can we all just get along this summer... "I have a dream"

Unfortunately I doubt this to be possible. Too many agendas, "different" personalities, and financial gains to be had.

Amateur baseball as it once was is a thing of the past. All each coach can do is what's best for his team and kids.

Best of luck with this new league and any others starting up.

I'm sure Sam profits from Lone Star...

I'm sure Cade and Shayne profit from MSL, etc....

I'm sure Logan profits from his organization...

I'm sure Tommy makes his coin...

That's not the point you see.

It's a takes a bit of intellect to understand so I'll lay off you on this one.

Besides, I'm sure Tommy would rather this thread promote his league than get derailed into the state of amateur baseball.

DBAT Mustangs Guthrie will play in BBI this year and always has.
I enjoyed the competition in BBI last year, but we only got 9 games in and paid $2700.00. None of our rain outs were made up. $300.00 a game does not make fiscal sense to me.

I am not blaming BBI for this so please do not take my comments the wrong way. They were very good with working with us with regards to moving games around and I guess that is part of the "rain out problem."
