I am new to this site. I have a son who is a junior in high school. I see alot of info on other states but not New York. How can I get info on Showcases and stuff relating to New York?

He is one of the 'posters' on these 'boards' going by the name "TRhit". He runs the College Select Showcase every year in Binghamton, and also near his home in Connecticut.
He is very straight forward with any information that you may need. His showcase was instrumental in having our son get evaluated by several universities. Our son now attends the University of Rochester and plays for Coach Reina at UR. This was the result of him attending the Binghamton Showcase in 2005.

HeadFirst out of Washington runs a national academic showcase (Jul in Ca, aug in va and nov in fl). excellent showcase if you are looking for highly academic schools. all the Ivy's attend as well as many other D1 schools (Villanova, W&M, Georgetown, Maryland, Richmond, Davidson, Wofford, UVA, UMBC, Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, Army, Navy, Duke, Stanford, Fordham, St Joe's, St John's and others)and many very good D3 programs. We attended several showcases over the past 1.5 years and this was by far the most productive in terms of interest from the schools my son was interested in, both D1 and D3.
