The 15U Allen Wranglers will be having tryouts for the 2010 summer season on Saturday, Nov 14 at The Ballfields at Craig Ranch (The Gabe) from 1-3pm.

Our oldest age group within the organization that now fields four teams, this team has had the same coaching staff for the past 7 seasons, and has compiled a 185-72-3 record since its inception, including a 46-13 record in the summer of ’09, concluding with a 5th place (out of 42 teams) finish at the AAYBA National Championship in St. Louis, MO. We strive to push the team to the highest level of play they can achieve as individuals and as a group. We stress a positive environment for learning the game along with high expectations and effort from both the players and coaches. Our coaching staff has over 35 seasons of experience combined, with several having achieved a high level of play in college, one a former assistant college coach, and another is an NPA-certified instructor (National Pitching Association). This organization is strongly committed to the families and players who represent us.

Plans for the coming summer include a schedule of approximately 50 games over 10 weeks (early June-early August), comprised of play in the North Texas Mickey Mantle League and/or the LoneStar League and/or 4-5 selected tournaments. We will play in a competitive environment that pushes the boys to improve their play.

This is a 15U Elite (Majors) team and, as such, we are looking for 1 or 2 very special players to add to our current roster of 12. We are looking for a hitter who has the capability of batting in the middle of the order on our team, and must be able to play just about anywhere on the diamond, with high-end catching and/or pitching abilities strongly desired. If you are interested in attending the tryout, please send your baseball resume to head coach, Wes Tarbox, at wa_2_fst@tx.rr.com for consideration and more information about our club.

**The venue of the tryout is subject to change, so please e-mail for confirmation. Thank you.**

The 16U Allen Wranglers Baseball club is hosting tryouts for the upcoming Fall '10 season.

This team has a proven history of success, dating back to 2006. Our all-time record is 203-86-3, competing favorably against some of the best competition in our age group.

This past year as a true 15U team, we finished 29-17, qualified for the 16U AABC State tournament, and competed almost exclusively against 16U select teams. The rest of the competition was high-end 15U teams. An unprecedented number of injuries at key positions prevented us from playing in the post-season, and hurt us during the regular season, but the team battled through those and is well prepared for varsity-level baseball entering their Sophomore year of high school.

This fall we will be playing in the BBI Sunday doubleheader league, and have a few open spots on our roster. Next summer will encompass league play and 6-7 showcase tournaments, totaling 50+ games. The coaching staff has been with this team for 4+ years and is committed to developing players to play at the collegiate level. Several of our coaches had successful college careers. Wes Tarbox and Eddie Edwards were offered, and accepted, positions to coach one of the Allen High School varsity teams this fall, which will play on Saturdays. We believe this speaks to the level of coaching competence and trust that other programs have in what we are trying to accomplish with the Allen Wranglers.

We are not a large organization (will field 4 teams in various age groups this fall), but remain extremely committed to the development of ballplayers in our area and under our tutelage. We pride ourselves in treating you and your family with the utmost respect, knowing communication on and off the field, and team-first attitudes are a critical part of developing baseball and personal life skills.

For more information about our team (past and present), please visit our website at www.allenwranglers.com

You may also see us in the Plano Star Courier and Allen American at: http://scntx.com/articles/2010...hools/allen/0006.txt

The tryout will be held at 10am at The Gabe at The Ballfields at Craig Ranch on Saturday, Aug 14. We ask that you let us know if you plan to be at the tryout, so we can accommodate all the players in a fair way in order to properly evaluate your skills. If you have any questions, please never hesitate to contact us! wa_2_fst@tx.rr.com or 214-215-4712

The Dallas SAINTS Organization is holding fall and summer tryouts. Come play on a SAINTS team or bring your entire team and keep your name. Read through our website and you'll understand the success that we have had in the South Texas / Houston area. We are responsible for many scholarships each year. This is a unique opportunity.

The SAINTS Organization is moving into DFW and is unlike any other organization that you have dealt with. Ask yourself these questions to help decide whether you should come to a tryout:

1. Are you getting value for your money?

2. Are you tired of spending valuable time and money travelling all over the country wondering where the scouts are?

3. Do you want your son to get the attention that he deserves from an organization?

4. Do you want to know how the scholarship game really works and how to maximize your opportunity?

If your answer is yes to any of these questions then why not come check this opportunity out, it cost nothing but a little time.

Call 214-476-0588 or 214-532-9539 for more SAINTS baseball information and ask for Rick or Kyle.
Tryouts will be at Reverchon Park (the College League Field in Downtown Dallas).

A few Colleges associated with the Saints:
Temple JC
San Jacinto JC
Alvin JC
UT San Antonio
Dallas and Houston Community Colleges

Again, just to name a few.
