Last night, I threw 134 pitches in a 9 inning outing. I woke up this morning and felt like I had been hit by a truck (which I expected to feel like). Does anyone know something I can do to work out the kinks a little bit? My quads and abs are especially sore, and the muscle area around my shoulder is very tender. I've thrown 100+ pitch games before, but never this many pitches. I usually just run several miles the day after and do a dynamic stretching routine for about a half hour, then follow up with some light ab work and VERY light theraband work for the shoulder. Anything else anyone suggests?

TR-

I've been on a program this summer pretty similar to one for a college starter, usually a start on the weekend and then possibly an appearance during the week in relief. I've had 5 starts and I've gone 7+ in 4 of them, but never this many pitches. Tomorrow I am going to throw to about 90 feet and see how it feels.
