I posted this a few minutes ago in the General Items forum by accident and meant to post it here, so I'm just copying it over...
Last night, I threw 134 pitches in a 9 inning outing. I woke up this morning and felt like I had been hit by a truck (which I expected to feel like). Does anyone know something I can do to work out the kinks a little bit? My quads and abs are especially sore, and the muscle area around my shoulder is very tender. I've thrown 100+ pitch games before, but never this many pitches. I usually just run several miles the day after and do a dynamic stretching routine for about a half hour, then follow up with some light ab work and VERY light theraband work for the shoulder. Anything else anyone suggests?
