Probably a fan of NC State or Duke or some other school. She never said she was a UNC fan.
Baseball has never been mentioned, it's just about football. Roy assures us basketball is not involved either.
I'm an ABCD fan :-). (I've gone soft to be honest. Unless they are playing State I root for baseball. I'm OK when UNC wins in other sports. But it's always a good day with State wins and UNC looses.)
The original "investigation" went on for about a year and seemed closed. UNC thought they got away with something. It took a State fan to find the Pepper's transcript, which seems to prove that phantom classes have a long history. It was found using an open portal on the UNC website. Someone didn't look very hard a year ago.
Think of the State - UNC rivalry along the line of Red Socks/Yankees. So yes, I'm chuckling at the pile of do do the Tarheels have stepped in. Though to be honest, it's not like the football program was exceptionally strong over the past decade.

Not so fast......Harvard may steal the spotlight with their own little scandal brewing in Beantown. I wonder if the Ivy League will vacate their basketball & football championships due to academic dishonesty on a take home final exam? Yes, you read that right....take home exam. I'm not sure which is more embarrassing.....the actual scandal itself or the fact that it was a take home final.
