Such good news seeing where his velocity is after TJ surgery. Hit 99 last week! Was a huge "positive" for my son in a poor program. We wish him every success.
Another young granite state pitcher that just received a "call up" is Kyle Jackson from Litchfield (Alvirne High) Kyle is now a member of the Portland Sea Dogs. Way to go Kyle!!! Can't wait to see him pitch! Just think....I knew him when he was my son's first base coach many years back. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't make mention to the great season Chris Carpenter is having!!! I see a CY young in his future! Well deserved! Congrats Chris! Kyle and Chris, you make me proud to be a granite stater!
Sorry to hear about Jason. My son played against him when he played legion ball.(As my son says,"he's legit!") Our family would like to send our thoughts and prayers to Jason. Hope to see you on the diamond soon!!!
A couple Northeast 10 boys now in the coaching ranks...
Spaulding's BJ Gagnon, graduate of Bryant College is a new assistant at SNHU... We saw him win the MVP award in the NCAA playoffs in 2004... and Justin Blood, pitcher for FP who was drafted and played one year of minor ball is now the Pitching Coach at UConn.
