Good Day All,

I would like to take this opportunity to say congradualtions to Exeter Post 32 on winning the NH American Legion State championship yesterday. They beat Rochester Post 7 (My sons team) 9-0 behind a brilliant pitching performance by Justin Sousa.

Justin pitched a complete game shutout, surrendering only 4 hits. To me the most impressive thing about his work on the mound was that fact we never sent more than 4 guys to the plate in ANY inning. He also hit a 3-run HR in the bottom of the 8th.

Best Of Luck to Justin and the entire Post 32 team in Brockton MA next week in the regionals.

Rochester Post 7, while disappointed at losing the state title had a great season. They finished 23-7 this year after a 8-12 record last season. We will be back to battle for the title again next year as we only lose 2 players from this team. Good Luck in the future Jeremy & Josh!!

Hi,
Have been lurking here for awhile and just recently registered. As a fellow Northern New Englander I wanted to offer my congratulations to your Legion team's achievements! My son plays for MA Post 4, Haverhill which just finished their season. They made it to the Final 8 in Sandwich this past weekend, beating Brockton and then losing to So Attleboro and Sandwich. Disappointing losses, but an incredible season for a team that hadn't made it that far since the early 1960's!

Best of luck to your players in the future!
20Dad,

lost?....heck Bristol is not that far away....I see the young Bean boy struck out 18 in the first game of the regionals!!!

We used to live just a few towns eat of there. That facility in Bristol is quite something, my wife was reading in the paper tonight that they think there may be 8,000 or more there for the game between Portsmouth and the CT team from Glastonbury.
KmomNH,

Feeding????....just about everything in the grocery store.

6'5", 195 and now we are waiting for him to fill out!!! At least for the moment, the upward growth has seemingly stopped. (Although the HS basketball coach says more is ok with him....)

Before 20Dad gets on you...i think its the Portsmouth LL team your talking about. They are looking very good so far. If all goes well, they will be ESPN or ESPN2 on Sunday at 1.
kmom i'm not a big fan of little league but i realize i'm out numbered so that's all i say about that.
little league is fun and all but something about the big field thins out the herd and most never play high school ball. but we are doing very well in bristol and that makes me proud.i would really like to see them in williamsport our city needs a boost in the sports dept.something to rally around and this might be it.
