I believe they run straight Federation rule in NH. I don't believe there are any controls on IP or appearances until the playoffs. Do you have a specific question?
nothing specific,just what they were.and you kind of answered it ,in the fed. book i have it doesn't address limit's per week ,or innings and that could be because they don't have a rule on innings per week. thanks if you know of any limitation's that would be great. thanks

There IS a rule and I know about it because my son's coach didn't! It cost us a trip to the playoffs his senior year.
At all levels of hs ball: frosh, jv and varsity
a pitcher who pitches more than 5 innings in one day must have three full days rest before pitching again.
It is on the nhiaa website somewhere.
I will try and find it to direct you.

thank you chill, i never looked that closely at the web site .very informative. would that be the clifford boy playing first? he was a very good lefty,rumor has it his high school coach over used him as a freshman. coincidence? any way thanks so much for the scoop, that's what's so great about this web 'you can get answers to anything

My son played AAU with Brian Clifford.
He usually played the outfield when he was not pitching. Winning the Class L championship his freshman year did, I'm sure, put extra strain on his arm. Way too many curve balls, IMO.
The 5 inning rule is a good one to keep track of in the paper. Some don't know the rule, and then some do but try to take advantage when they thing you are napping...LOL
