In mid January, Collegiate Baseball published a list of "Top Prospects by State".

How can the lefty pitcher from Portsmouth, Anderson, be left off this list, even though he is a junior?

One has to understand the process-- a players coach is instrumental in getting a player named--the nomination form asks for info etc on a player which is in turn evaluated by Collegiate Baseball people
Class has nothing to do with being listed--you see the Castillo boy listed and he is a junior
Players need coaches to be working on their behalf, be it a HS or travel team coach !!!!

Thanks all, I am just curious as to who you think the best Class I players are?
ss at Hollis Brookline (6-1) Gregg Coulter is off to a great start Avg .525 OBP .610 SLG .600 and 8 stolen bases. Gregg is also 3-0 ERA 0.47 as a pitcher throwing a NO-Hitter against St. Thomas. Alex Pratt from Hollis Brookline just beat last years Class I champs Souhegan yesterday 11-5.
