TPW, but he didn't go to college?

I posted this about a young player that has been through a lot and making a great comeback.

It has nothing to do what said on another thread.

Just goes to show how unprofessional some professionals can be. Sad.
TPM, not unprofessional. Doesn't matter what thread your in. Your in the GOING PRO topic. Also, your belief in one thread should still be your belief in another thread. OR are you always confrontational when its not how you want it to be percieved?

Yes, Adenhart has worked hard at his rehab and is doing well. My point is that you and TR HIT would have made him go to college. Good to see a high school kid not get 5 million and still do well. Pro ball is looking good for itelf with this high schooler!

Adenhart, Signed OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL, if he attended class in college that is good for him. He signed and recieved his bonus and he did so within the 90 days of signing his contract. The Angels paid for and controlled his rehab.

Vance your facts are wrong and your premise is wrong. First the Angels did not pay for his surgery. Second, he was in a very unique position. So to use him as an example to TPM is not appropriate. If you want to bash TPM about her opinion please find another example. I do not believe that faced with the unique circumstances of this one case that you can say exactly what TPM and TRhit would have done, the considerations were completely different than any other kid drafted that year and maybe any other year before or since. Had the injury not occurred, I assure you that the decision may have been completely different.
The fact is that He did sign after graduating from high school just like he would have done if he had not been hurt. Yes the ANGELS did pay for the surgery.

No intention at bashing anyone. The individual belief has been stated. Great that someone who believes in college before pro would bring to lite the positive of what pro baseball has done for a youngman. I think its outstanding.
Thanks folks.

Vance, if that is your standard that he signed that's fine but believe me when I say that if the Angels had not had a fantastic and novel idea and had not sat in my house and done more homework than anyone Nick would have been at Carolina with Prepster's son. Despite what you read Nick was not a guarantee to sign before the injury. I would love to know who you work for.

Prepster, loved watching the Tarheels and your son in the Series.

TPM thanks for the PM no problem.
